Very much looking forward to this. Could Anderson be bringing back the magic of "Rushmore"? Not that I'm not a fan of his other films as well - "The Royal Tennenbaums" was particularly good - but his genius was truly oh full display in his directorial debut.
I felt Rushmore was far more polished than Bottle Rocket... Royal has been my favorite so far... really hit on all cylinders for me. I also connect with/enjoy the movies he co-wrote with Owen far more than the others.
"Royal" was my fav as well, but the progression from "Bottlerocket" to "Rushmore" was impressive. What I love about his films is that they are always interesting. I think "Life Aquatic" is my least favorite, but there is still a lot to enjoy.
